Trump is a talented grifter. He’s ripped off contractors and other professionals who do business with him in the past. Michael Cohen has publicly disclosed incidents in which he participated in Trump’s business loan default programs and financial obligations. Cohen often describes Trump as extremely cheap and indifferent to the harm he does to people. With hundreds of millions of dollars in debt falling due shortly after leaving office, the self-styled financial genius seems to have invented this fake reason to get his followers to send him money to help him out of financial ruin to rescue.
Trump asks his followers to send him money to help in his fight against the elections, which he says were stolen from him by the Democrats. His plea works because he has raised over $ 170 million to help achieve his political and personal goals. His historical lack of transparency about his business overseas or how the money from his opening fund was spent makes it difficult to trust his reasoning for the need to raise funds.
It is obvious and factual that Trump lost the election fairly. Even Trump’s sycophantic attorney general William Barr announced yesterday that there was no evidence of election fraud and confirmed the election results. Trump has lost over 30 cases of citing election fraud and has falsely claimed he has evidence of electoral misconduct. His attorneys have faced humiliating rejections from conservative Trump-appointed judges for failing to provide evidence to support their claims. Those who have known Trump for years have speculated about the success of his fundraising campaign by continuing the false narrative that the money will be used to protect our democratic elections. The truth is that he will have access to that money to use as he wishes.
By creating this obviously bogus narrative about election fraud to raise money for himself, Trump is also creating another dangerous scenario. the normalization of death threats to those who oppose its efforts to undermine confidence in our free and fair elections. These are some of the government and election officials who have received death threats or lesser threats of violence.
– Katie Hobbs, Democratic Secretary of State from Arizona, reported threats against her and her family.
– Georgia Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffansperger reported receiving threatening messages during the recount. He also received pressure from Senator Lindsey Graham to disqualify votes.
-Mike Shirkey, the Republican leader of the Pennsylvania Senate, said death threats had been made against the children of Wayne County campaigners.
Christopher Krebs, head of ex-cybersecurity, was threatened on Twitter by Joe Digenova, lawyer for the Trump campaign, “to be taken out and shot at dawn”.
Trump has not used the power of his office to tone down the violent rhetoric against election and government officials who have denied his allegations of election fraud. The White House issued a general statement denouncing any threats of violence against elected officials. Trump is silent on this issue, however. Washington insiders speculate that Trump is ignoring the mounting violence and will continue his fundraising campaign by spreading unsubstantiated lies about the elections stolen from him. His anti-democratic, aggressive, treacherous approach to power transfer endangers the physical safety of countless patriotic electoral officials and leaves us with no choice but to hope that Prosecutor Cyrus Vance in the southern district of New York can “lock him up”, silence his poisonous attack on America, and actually “make it great again”.
