In a press release, the business owners admitted that Colorado has “an extremely well-meaning and astute governor” who is trying to protect citizens and heed advice from health officials. However, the owners say the lawsuit is designed to expedite the process of reopening small businesses to avoid collateral difficulties.
“Out of caution and because the situation is so critical, we filed a lawsuit on Thursday, December 10th, asking the federal court for an injunction to expedite the reopening of these stores and prevent further damage to people’s mental health and people’s small businesses, “the owners said in a statement.
While the rasping language about Polis’ intelligence is ridiculous, you can’t blame them as Polis is unlikely to be proactive in picking up his government’s jackboot for government brawl.
In a similar development, New York City also announced on Friday that it would be discontinuing indoor dining.
