Oracle announced that Cybereason has introduced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as the platform of choice to power the Cybereason Defense Platform and support its global expansion.

The companies also partnered to jointly market and sell solutions. Cybereason’s Endpoint Protection platform is optimized for delivery across Oracle’s second generation global cloud regions. The solution is available through Cybereason and on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace, where customers can search for available applications and services to find the best business solutions for their organizations.

“Cybereason is joining a growing number of companies using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for its leading security and price advantages that come from its global cloud presence,” said Clay Magouyrk, executive vice president of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. “The introduction of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure improves Cybereason’s ability to provide insights into threats across thousands of endpoints and enables customers to stay one step ahead of today’s most nefarious attacks.”

“We are excited to be working with Oracle to improve our company’s cloud infrastructure for our award-winning unified protection platform. We chose Oracle Cloud Infrastructure because of its security-sensitive approach and performance. Together we will provide unmatched transparency and risk mitigation to our global customer base. Additionally, Oracle Cloud’s global presence enables Cybereason to host more locations domestically to meet data sovereignty requirements, ”said Lior Div, CEO and Co-Founder of Cybereason.

Enterprise customers benefit from the capabilities to prevent, detect and automatically correct machine learning on the Cybereason Defense Platform. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) offers global scalability with microsecond latency and lower costs.

The main benefits of partnership include:

Improved security and risk management, lower operational costs for endpoint and desktop security, and increased productivity of security operations teams. Reduced time to detection and recovery of cyber incidents with built-in security that reduces overall complexity, reduces the impact of human error, and improves response time with self-locking and adaptable defenses. Build with confidence in the cloud using built-in security and critical services to protect data paths across cloud and on-premises deployments and support compliance and governance.
