For the first time in months, the wife of ‘El Chapo’ shows a picture in a wedding dress

The wife of drug lord and former Sinaloa cartel leader Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman shared a picture of herself in a wedding dress.

The 31-year-old model became an Instagram influencer with over 422,000 followers despite not being very active on the social media platform.

In fact, she had only posted four pictures before yesterday when she posted the wedding dress snapshot as her fifth photo.

Emma Coronel’s last post was in July when she was celebrating her birthday.

The new photo shows the model with a new blonde look adopted a few weeks ago, posing in a flowing wedding dress designed by Benito Santos.

According to Infobae newspaper, the model has signed up for a PR campaign for a wedding company due to start next year.

Coronel was chosen by the Lumaran Salon brand to show off its hairstyle and makeup for weddings in 2021.

Coronel has a large following on Instagram

Santos was the designer of the red dress with which Ximena Navarrete was crowned Miss Universe in 2010.

After the photo shoot, Coronel said: “I felt like in a dream”.

Earlier this year, El Chapo’s wife posted glamorous photos of himself on a ski trip while he was living his life behind bars.

El Chapo was sentenced to life imprisonment

The woman made headlines by starring on the Cartel Crew reality show, in which she spoke to Michel Blanco, son of drug dealer Griselda Blanco, who complained about how people treated her.

She first appeared on Instagram in January 2019 and garnered 44,000 followers in just one week.

El Chapo was sentenced to life imprisonment last year.

The 62-year-old joined the Administrative Maximum US Penitentiary (ADX) in Florence in July 2019.

El Chapo was found guilty of ten drug trafficking charges in a US District Court in Brooklyn, New York City.
