President-elect Joe Biden spoke to the nation from Delaware today for a pre-Christmas message.

“Our darkest days in the fight against COVID are ahead of us, not behind us, so we have to prepare, steel our spine. (…) It will take patience, perseverance and determination to defeat this virus.”

“We all just need to be separated a little longer,” said @JoeBiden in Wilmington, Delaware.

Biden promised “masking requirements, a new testing strategy” and “accelerated production of protective equipment” from day one of his tenure.

He also said that Russia’s recent cybersecurity attack “poses a serious risk to our national security. It has been carefully planned and carefully orchestrated.”

“The truth is this: the Trump administration did not prioritize cybersecurity,” added Biden, vowing to respond to the attack that experts are targeting Russian intelligence agencies.
