Hanwha Techwin signs MoU with the Egyptian government

Hanwha Techwin has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Benha Electronics and the Ministry of Military (MMP) in Egypt. As part of the MoU, Hanwha Techwin and the MMP will work together to expand the depth and reach of the latest security solution applications, particularly in video surveillance, within Egyptian government organizations and their public projects across Egypt.

The ceremony was attended by the deputy head of the MMP, Mohamed Salah el Din, the chairman of Benha Electronics, General Fawzi Khalil, the head of Hanwha Techwin for the Middle East and Africa, Sung-Jae Lee, and officials from the South Korean Embassy of Egypt .

Hanwha Techwin will provide security solutions for major utility company security and crime and accident prevention projects in Egypt. Hanwha Techwin will partner with Benha Electronics to locally manufacture surveillance cameras and deploy advanced surveillance solutions in the area.

MENA expansion for Hanwha Techwin

“With the latest letter of intent, Hanwha Techwin is expected to be involved in public works projects not only in Egypt, but also in countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). We are honored to partner with the Egyptian government through this agreement. We will continue to work together to ensure a high level of security in Egypt, ”said Sung-Jae Lee, Head of Hanwha Techwin Middle East.
