“The Michigan Republican Party plans to replace the GOP member of the Board of State Canvassers who cast the casting vote to approve the election results in favor of Democratic President-elect Joe Biden,” reports the Detroit News.
“With party activists calling for certification to be blocked on November 23, Aaron Van Langevelde, Republican Political Advisor and Assistant Legal Adviser to the State House, joined the two Democrats on the four-member board to sign the results.”
“His term ends on January 31. Rather than appointing him for a four-year term, the Michigan Republican Party has proposed three well-known activists to take his place.”
