Labor Sourdough Baking, candidate of the “Medieval” Council questions Trump’s hairspray “Israel”

Guido noted an interesting selection of council candidates in North West Durham, where Labor selected Owain Gardner for the former Weardale mining area. Owain will no doubt go down well in Weardale as he describes himself as:

“The owner of an SME based in Wolsingham, Gardner’s Sourdough Bakery Ltd, which is 100% organic. He is also a PhD student in history at the University of Glasgow studying the place of music in the early Franciscan liturgy and its impact on JS Bach. “

He is also a member of the Musicians’ Union, the Royal Historical Society and the Robert Grosseteste Society …

It gets more interesting when you look at Owain’s social media where he defended Ken Livingston’s Zionist comments and argued that Livingstone was “not an anti-Semite.” complained about being classified as “anti-Semite and racist” by members of the Labor Party; and complained that Chris Williamson’s words were “completely distorted”.

The crown jewel, however, was Gardner’s question, “How much of Trump’s hairspray is made in Israel?”

Maybe Owain should stick with baking …
